1. Create a Google Account: If you don’t have one, sign up for a Google account. If you are already using Gmail, you already have an account that can be used to create your Google business profile.
2. Accessing the Platform: Go to Google Maps on a desktop and search for your business address to access Google Business. In the left window, Click Add Your Business. If your business name is already there, click Claim This Business and Manage Now. 
3. Begin the Setup Process: Log in with your Google account and provide the necessary business details, including the name, address, phone number, and business category, allowing you to add your business to Google successfully.
4. Business Description and Keyword Optimization: When you add your business on Google, it’s crucial to include relevant keywords in your business description. Add keywords and phrases pertinent to your industry and commonly used by your target audience to search for products and services related to your business. This will help your business appear in search results and attract potential customers.
5. Key Business Information: Include your website link, operating hours, and other essential information about your products or services to present a comprehensive overview and insights into your services or products. 
6. Verify Your Business: Google may necessitate the verification of your business for validation purposes, which can be done through a postcard sent to your business address or via alternative methods available in some regions. 
7. Utilize Additional Features: Leverage the diverse features available, such as publishing posts, including events, promotions, updates, images, and videos, and consistently updating your profile with engaging content.
